Shrinking jaws contract the metal to create inside curves, while stretcher jaws expand the metal to create outside curves. The body is made from two high-strength 3/8 inch steel plates with hardened-steel jaws, and it shapes up to 16-gauge mild steel. A 17 inch handle gives you leverage for hand operation.
